This hide is painted with a bindrune calling upon the Norse god Thor, using the runes Thurisaz, Othala, and Raidho, a combination meant to summon his power, protection, and enduring will. Surrounding the bindrune is a full circle of all 24 Elder Futhark runes, anchoring the cloth in the ancient language of the gods.
Each hide is naturally tanned and left untrimmed, maintaining its organic edges and markings. Some may contain small holes or imperfections from the tanning process, an intentional choice that honors the raw nature of the material.
