This hoodie features Yggdrasil on the front, the World Tree described in the Poetic Edda and Prose Edda. It is the central tree that connects the Nine Realms and is home to numerous creatures in Norse mythology.
Down the sleeves, the roots of Yggdrasil extend and reveal Níðhöggr. Níðhöggr is a dragon/serpent that lives beneath Yggdrasil in Niflheim. Níðhöggr chews at the roots of the tree and is involved in the constant tension within the world’s structure. It is one of the primary beings mentioned in Völuspá and Grímnismál, and is also described as feeding on the corpses of the dead.
