The Snaptun Stone is a Viking Age hearthstone discovered in Denmark in 1950. Its carved face is commonly identified as Loki because the figure's lips appear scarred or sewn shut, reflecting the story in which Loki's mouth is stitched closed after losing a wager with the dwarf Brokkr. The original stone is generally dated to around 1000 CE.
