This one of a kind wall hanger features a real bighorn sheep ewe skull mounted to a dark stained pine backer. The wood surrounding the skull is engraved with a collection of Icelandic magical staves, bringing together bone and historic magical symbolism in a single ritual and display piece.
Icelandic magical staves appear throughout later Icelandic magical manuscripts and were created for a wide range of purposes, including protection, strength, luck, guidance, and other practical or magical intentions. The collection engraved into this piece makes it well suited for a Norse pagan ritual space, altar area, or as a unique piece of bone art.
Big horn sheep skulls are extremely difficult to come by, making pieces like this incredibly limited. In my decade of selling oddities I have never had big horn ewe skulls to sell other than this very small batch I currently have. Once these sell I will no longer have any more or know if this will ever be available again.
