A hand crafted altar designed to serve as the central focus of ritual work and sacred space. Altars often shift and evolve alongside the practitioner, and this piece is intended to provide a grounded foundation that can adapt to different workings, intentions, and devotional practices over time.
Featuring the Elder Futhark, the oldest known runic alphabet, this altar reflects early Germanic writing traditions used between the 2nd and 8th centuries and their connection to Norse mythology and early mythic symbolism. This altar is well suited for those who value historically inspired design within their ritual space.

Engraved Elder Futhark runic alphabet
Designed for altar and ritual use
Serves as a central working surface for sacred space
It hangs nicely and looks authentic to the ancient runestone. It now holds my late mother's ashes and acts as a shrine of sorts. Will definitely do business again with Oreamnos Oddities.

The perfect small altar for a home or apartment. It's hand made very well. I'd definitely buy more items from this shop.

Fine craftsmanship!
Bought this about a year ago. It arrived six days after purchase, VERY fast! Rated four stars because the wood has a cracked knot that disturbs the rune sequence. I would include an image to reference, but I don't see the option to.
