You can preform candle Magic by simply focusing your intent on what you desire, writing it down on a piece of paper and channeling your intent as you focus on the candle. Once you feel you have let your intent be known you can burn the piece of paper with the flame. Some people like to let the candle burn down completely for the spell to finish whilst others prefer to blow the candle out and let the smoke carry their desires out to the universe. How you choose to use candle magic is entirely up to you. A Vegvísir is an icelandic stave intended to help the bearer find their way through rough weather. The symbol is attested in the huld manuscript, collected in Iceland by Geir Vigfusson in 1880 (but consisting of material of earlier origin). A leaf of the manuscript provides an image of the vegvísir, gives its name, and, in prose, declares that "if this sign is carried, one will never lose one's way in storms or bad weather, even when the way is not known".
