A hand crafted altar cloth designed to protect ritual working areas while supporting devotional and transformative ritual work. Made from an ethically sourced rabbit hide, this piece serves as both a functional altar textile and a symbolic focal point for working with the Norse god Loki.
Each altar cloth features a hand painted Loki bindrune encircled by a full runic circle. The bindrune is formed using Laguz, Othala, Kenaz, and Isa, and is created to invoke Loki within ritual practice. These runes are worked together to call in Loki’s presence, supporting ritual focused on transformation, disruption, insight, and the reshaping of boundaries. Surrounding the bindrune is a complete circle of the 24 Elder Futhark runes, reinforcing continuity, protection, and ritual structure. All hides are left in their natural form, preserving organic edges and markings as part of the material’s character.
